Announcements before workshop

  1. Detailed informations to prepare discussions
  2. Brief description on what should be discussed in this workshop
We propose to restrict ourself this time to concentrate on discussions on items below
and to define responsible groups on them.

    (1) Test for Scan Back Location for QE nu_e and tau->e ( Koichi Kodama )
    	Scheme
    		(a) Expose bricks to very low intensity electron beam ( 1 electron / spill )
    		(b) Replace CS each spill ? to distinguish each electron beam
    		(c) Try scan back method to reach incident electron beams

Do we have a suitable low intensity beam line ?
How to continue scan back when followed up track disappers due to e-pair conversion ?
    	Efficiency evaluation

    (2) Test for Scan Back Location for NC like events ( Shigeki Aoki )
    	Scheme
    		(1) Expose mini wall ( 1+9 bricks ) to a few GeV/c pi-
    		(2) First try to locate pi- interaction in the first wall ( only 1 brick )
    		(3) Then try to connect secondaries to down side wall ( 9 bricks )

Efficiency evaluation for pi- inteaction Scan Back location
Efficiency evaluation for brick to brick connection to down steam

    (3) Test for Brick to Brick Connection ( Masahiro Komatsu )
    	Scheme
    		(a) Expose bricks to pi/mu/e to simulate tracks to be connected
    		(b) Refreshed brick

Try to connect to down brick
Edge effect on connection to side brick
Determine maximum cosmic ray exposure density to allow brick to brick connection
Cosmic ray exposed for momentum measurement acts as background for connection
    	Efficiency evaluation

    (4) Scan Back Location Scheme ---> will be merged into above 3 discussions
    	Labels on emulsion sheets
Do we need fiducial marks on each emulsion sheets ?
How to set an emulsion sheet on a stage ?
How to treat edge events ?

Organizers are allocated as shown above and they should circulate detailed description
and questions to be answered at the workshop soon.
